Now that Miley Cyrus has left her days as Hannah Montana behind
will be hosting a new show on the SyFy channel with Miley’s older brother Trace Cyrus. You may best remember the heavily tattooed Trace for fronting the now defunct Metrostation who scored a 2008 smash hit with ‘Shake It”
The new show has very little to do with music though. This time Billy Ray will be exploring the world of UFOs.
The proposed title for the show “UFO: Unbelievably Freakin’ Obvious” might sound like a good title for a Miley song but it will actually be a show investigating all kinds of paranormal happenings.
“Our audience craves authentic, compelling and informative storytelling that pushes the boundaries of our normal world,” said Mark Stern, head of programing for the NBC Universal-owned network said in a statement announcing the new show. “Allegations of cover-up and conspiracy around unexplained phenomena has inspired heated debate for decades,” Stern said. “It will be interesting to see what truth Billy Ray and Trace may discover.”
According to Billy Ray this is an exciting new departure for him. “The existence of paranormal phenomena is something I’ve always wanted to explore further,” Cyrus said in the press release about the show. “I hope this series can shine a light on some of the activities we have questioned, and the mysteries that have long inspired us.”
Also starring on the show will be Trace Cyrus’ real life best friend ”Silent Franky” who will deliver data and information from his “parent’s basement” while the dynamic Cyrus duo tour the country in their quest for the “real truth”
